Amber Y. Amber James though not a native of Alabama has called Alabama home for more than 25 years.  She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Birmingham School of Law.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a Masters of Business Administration Degree in addition to her law degree.  Amber graduated with Honors from the Birmingham School of Law and is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Alabama State Bar and the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Morgan County Bar Association, the Young Lawyer's Sections of the Alabama State Bar and the American Bar Association, and the Christian Legal Society. She also serves as a substitute law professor at her alma mater.  Outside of the legal arena, Amber is the mother of three children, a son, a daughter, and a step-son, teaches the High School Youth Sunday School Class at her church, and is a member of the Rotary Club.
